The Green Wave

Crone Partners presented “The Green Wave: The Road to Green Property” to a packed house in the Philippines last month including the Australian Philippine Ambassador Mr Bill Tweedle, Austrade Commissioner Anthony Weymouth and members of the Philippine Green Building Council.

The presentation was held  at  Arthaland’s Arya marketing suite in Fort Bonifacio Global City in the Philippines. Arya Tower 1 topped out at 41 levels in June to complete Dec 13. Crone Partners designed Arya Residence is targeting dual Green Building Certifications; US LEED Gold Rating and the Philippines new BERDE Rating. Crone Partners CEO Greg Crone with the assistance of Practice Director Michael Banak discussed Global Sustainability Initiatives, International Green Rating Tools and their Global experience designing Green Buildings with different building use. Crone Partners focused on the Key Green Initiatives of 2 flagship projects, namely Arthaland’s Arya Residence designed in 2009 and Daisho’s 180B Commercial Office Tower in Brisbane designed in 2011 and targeting a “World’s Best Practice” 6 Star Green Star rating under the Green Building Council of Australia’s Commercial rating system. 180 Brisbane is on track to commence construction Jan 13 for completion Sept 15.
